MariaDB
The same connector as MySQL, tested on MariaDB.
- How it connects
- The same connector as MySQL: read-only session and transactions and a time limit on every query. Its tests run against MariaDB too.
- What it reads
- Tables, views, keys, relationships and procedures. When rows need counting, the database counts them itself and returns only the number.
- Which account it needs
- A MariaDB user with SELECT permission. If you want it to read stored procedures, EXECUTE as well: without it, MariaDB hides them and none appear, with no error.
- Can it write?
- No. Lindero never writes to a program's database.
